Areas most susceptible to abrasion have been reinforced with a steel inlay. While aluminum helps to keep the gear lightweight, it also provides strength. Introducing the Micro Jul - a compact and ultra-light belay and abseil device designed for half ropes and twin ropes. This device is the only suitable option for use with the Flycatcher 6.9 mm rope. Featuring high braking performance, the Micro Jul assists the belayer during leader falls. It also includes a small eyelet for easy release with a carabiner when bringing up your climbing partner. This versatile device is suitable for belaying a leader, bringing up two seconds, and can also be used for abseiling. The device allows for faster rope payout to a leader by holding it in the “open” position with the thumb. Its robust stainless steel construction ensures abrasion resistance and offers fast and simple handling. It is compatible with ropes ranging from 6.9 to 8.0 mm in diameter and complies with EN 15151-2 standards.
