Our ropes have been specially designed to meet the stringent environmental standards of the Swiss bluesign system, making us the first rope manufacturer to do so. This system is internationally recognized and focuses on resource productivity, consumer safety, water and air emissions, as well as occupational health & safety. Our ropes have shown impressive results with a 62% reduction in CO2 emissions, 89% savings in water usage, 63% less energy consumption, and 63% fewer chemicals used.

Introducing the Rap Line Protect Pro Dry 6mm, a dynamic single rope that offers integrated cut resistance. This is the first of its kind to feature a sheath made with aramid, providing exceptional cut resistance. Despite the reinforcement with aramid and higher sheath content, the impact force remains within industry standards. The Thermo Shield treatment ensures perfect handling, making it ideal for single rope use (not suitable for top-rope or workout climbing).

The EDELRID 3D Lap Coil technique allows for instant use without tangles, as the rope is specially wound up during production. The new braiding process, in combination with high-strength aramid and polyamide fibers, enhances cut resistance while still meeting dynamic mountain rope standards.

Our ropes are highly water- and dirt-resistant, with water absorption of less than 2% and outstanding performance in cold and wet conditions. The Thermo Shield treatment ensures a long lifespan for the ropes, providing a compact and supple handling experience.

With over 150 years of experience in mountain sports, EDELRID has continuously innovated and delivered top-quality products. Our ropes are designed to withstand two standard falls for dynamic twin rope tests according to EN 892, making them suitable for hauling equipment or abseiling due to low elongation values.

The special accessory cord, made from a combination of high-strength polyamide and aramid, enhances cut resistance under load. The Pro Dry finish ensures long-lasting water repellency and dirt resistance, making our ropes a reliable choice for any climbing enthusiast.
