Product Description To ensure durability and longevity when climbing, we have chosen to incorporate steel components in all products that are used in conjunction with ropes. Steel, known for its hard-wearing properties, helps prevent premature wear caused by rope friction, burrs, or sharp edges, ultimately extending the lifespan of ropes.

Key areas prone to abrasion are strengthened with a steel inlay, while aluminum is used to maintain a lightweight yet strong construction. Introducing JUL², an innovative belay device featuring high braking performance designed for single ropes. The optimized Mega Jul geometry enables easy and secure belaying, even with thicker ropes, thanks to its body constructed from high-quality stainless steel.

The device's optimized geometry enhances user-friendliness, making it suitable for beginners. With its high braking performance, it supports belayers during leader falls. The rope can be paid out swiftly to a leader by using the thumb to hold the device in the "open" position. The device ensures perfect handling, even with ropes of larger diameters, and is compatible with single ropes ranging from 8.9mm to 11.0mm.

The JUL² is abrasion-resistant, offers fast and simple handling, and is capable of accommodating single ropes with diameters from 8.9mm to 11.0mm. Additionally, it holds EN 15151-2 certification.

Now available for purchase, the JUL² comes with various options including additional eyelets, single rope belay capabilities, and compatibility with twin/half ropes. The device comes in different models suitable for rope diameters ranging from 7.1mm to 10.0mm, 7.9mm to 11.0mm, 7.8mm to 10.5mm, and 6.9mm to 8.0mm, while weighing between 62g to 105g.
